Elderberry Syrup 16 oz
Boost your immune system with one of nature’s best anti-virals! Fresh and delicious.
Our Syrup is made with Sambucus nigra ssp cerulea also known as our local native species of Blue Elderberry tree. In late summer, I go up into the Sierras and pick the high elevation berries. They are the juiciest. The berries are then frozen fresh until it is time for them to become syrup. At that point, I cook them down into juice, then blend the juice with local wildflower honey. Our local berries are sweeter and more fragrant than the European black elderberries that are most commonly used for products. The syrup has a very deep wine red color to it, and it tastes amazing.
I recommend having 1 tbl of syrup for adults and about 1/2 tbl of syrup for kids, depending on how big your kid is, to keep your immune system strong. If you are sick or believe you may be becoming sick, take 1 tbl 3-4 times a day.
Please refrigerate after arrival. Keeps for 6-8 weeks in the main compartment of the refrigerator or can be frozen for long term storage.
